Dragon Age: Origins
So that is some nice game. The characters, the story, the graphics, most of the skills, all makes fun.
Made a warrior, but when I got Morrigan I was playing her more then my character and wishing to have a second mage in my party, so we (playing together with my girlfriend) started again with a mage, as long we had not proceeded to far in the game.
Specialized Leliana as an archer and Alistair as a tank - the first one is hard to do on every character, since that darn AI switches to melee weapons when somebody gets in range.
Dont know about the others, but the companions I have chosen are made so detailed and lovely, one of the best part of the game. The random chats they have while exploring are the very best, because they are not really random, but made for those special two characters chatting, giving them not just feelings about you as the hero, but likes/dislikes about the other members of the group. That gives the whole thing some real nice depth. Its so entertaining seeing Morrigan and Alistair love-hating each other, engaged in their private (what we call today) flame-war.
On a sidenote: Never, ever, in all games I've seen such a load of background information. I think no person will ever read just the half of the codex, its like reading the bible back and forth during the game.
